Three Words to Describe Eileen Fisher?

Creative, Value-Driven, Committed.

Why should someone want to intern at Eileen Fisher?

The company is filled with really smart and creative people.  They are passionate about what they do and are more passionate about the company.  A great opportunity for young people to get practical work experience, in a company that is leading the industry in many different ways.

What qualities do most EF employees have?

Most EF employees are smart, insightful, passionate people who are open to learning new ideas about both the company and industry.

From a person who has seen EF grow, how do you think the company could expand to a younger market?

We can’t risk losing our core customer.  We have to be mindful of the design of the product and how it appeals to different ages but also mindful of the cost to purchase the product, because the younger generation might not have the same means as our core customer.  We should use Green Eileen as a way to educate a younger customer to the brand and a way into some of the product at a lower price point.

What separates EF from other companies?

The values at Eileen Fisher are extremely important.  We have a commitment to sustainability and developing more organic products.  Eileen separates us from other companies, with her unique vision of the industry.

What advice would you give to future Interns?

Experience all the company has to offer.  Meet and learn from as many people as you can and look for opportunities to participate and volunteer on projects both work related and company culture.
