Job Description
•The EILEEN FISHER Internship Program focuses on developing our own talent through introducing students to our unique organization. We host a year-round internship program with three semesters lasting about four months each. The semesters usually run for the following timeframes: January – April, May – August, September – December. We begin recruiting for each season 2 months before each season. Depending on students’ availability, they work between 2 – 5 days per week and a part time or full time schedule. During the summer session, most interns work with their teams on a full-time basis.
•When recruiting and selecting interns, we look for students who embody values similar to our brand, a sense of community and altruism, and a true desire to learn about our industry and company. Each year we partner with schools such as Parsons/The New School, Fordham, FIT, Philadelphia University, Pace, Pratt, RISD, and more. We are always looking for and open to new, valuable partnerships. We encourage our interns to receive credit for their internship, when offered through their college or university. In situations where this is not an option for the intern, we do offer the internship for pay.
•The intention of the EF Internship program is to provide a mutually beneficial experience for the intern and our company. Most interns are placed with one team for the four month program allowing them integration in the group and a deep understanding of the work and daily operations. Each intern has an expectation and desire to gain knowledge about our company, your team and the work you do. In exchange, the intern provides additional support to your team by executing short-term tasks and projects.
