What did you like about your internship program? What do you like about your job now?

I was given work that had a direct impact of the department’s reporting out, and the sense of responsibility motivated me to learn more and understand the work in depth. My job now is also very encompassing of the different responsibilities of sales/business planning and it involves interacting with several different departments, which keeps me up to date with the business.

Catching on to the company language and terms was a small challenge as I began my internship and I felt that by the end of the program, I was well versed with the language. On the job, I learned the importance of interacting with several different departments to improve the quality of my work

What is the advice you would like to give interns coming into the program?

Be open minded to the way this company works, it has its own work ethic and style, and if taken in the correct way it can really allow you to grow as a person, especially as you are just entering the work force

What attracted you to Eileen Fisher and the internship program?

I liked that the company had an edge in sustainability, making it different than other fashion houses. I felt a sense of ethics and values guided the business growth here, which matched my personal sensibilities as well

How was the environment compared to your previous experiences/ internships?

There was a huge emphasis at Eileen Fisher on personal well-being, as well as professional growth. In comparison to my other internships, I actually felt more utilized here as well as more cared for.
